Swift’s enhanced panoramic sunroof windows give further peace of mind

Since 2012, Swift caravans have been instantly recognisable by their sleek front panoramic sunroof - a signature design feature that has become a favourite among caravanners.

Rigorously tested for durability and performance, the sunroofs have now been fitted to more than 100,000 caravans, underscoring their reputation as a dependable and defining element of the Swift touring range.

Historically, the panoramic sunroof windows were installed using adhesive bonding systems and as with any manufactured part and associated manufacturing process, there are opportunities for failure both at the point of installation and during service. Here at Swift, the team are always looking for ways to improve. That’s why a new and improved installation system designed to give you even greater confidence in your Swift caravan has been introduced.

What's new?

The traditional adhesive method has been replaced with a precision-engineered mechanical fixing system, with a new sealing system like the method side windows currently use. This means:

• A more robust, and reliable fit
• Better long-term performance in all weather conditions
• The same stylish appearance you love.

The new system uses advanced sealing technology to keep your caravan protected from water and debris, while allowing the sunroof to still respond naturally to temperature changes.

Already tested and proven

This upgrade has been in production for over a year across Swift touring caravans and has demonstrated strong and reliable performance, successfully passing independent durability and climate tests. More recently, this innovative technology has been rolled out for aftermarket replacements, starting with smaller sizes and expanding the offering in Spring, however this will not be compatible with all older models of caravans.
