Swift's stunning line-up of motorhomes & campervans for 2027 season

On 1st September, Swift launched its latest range of campervans and motorhomes for the new season, ahead of one of the biggest events of the year - our annual appearance at the Motorhome & Caravan Show, 13th to 18th October.
For 2027, Swift’s much-loved campervan and motorhome ranges remain at the heart of the line-up. Voyager, Trekker, Carrera and Kon-Tiki, to name a few, continue to lead the way, each refined with carefully considered upgrades inspired by customer feedback and emerging innovations in technology and materials.
Key highlights for 2027 include:
- Carrera becomes fully off-grid compatible.

Powered by lithium
At the centre of it all - and the biggest update across the full 2027 Swift campervan and motorhome line-up - is the move from lead-acid to lithium leisure batteries.
The upgrade offers significant advantages, including more usable energy to improve off-grid capability, weight savings to enhance payload and fuel efficiency, and faster charging for greater touring flexibility.
Carrera: A British first in electric campervan living
For the new season, Carrera becomes fully off-grid compatible, replacing its traditional gas system with lithium batteries and diesel heating. A redesigned, off-grid-friendly kitchen introduces an induction hob and air fryer, giving owners modern cooking convenience wherever their travels take them.
The existing six layouts return, with the 122 now enhanced to feature a U-shaped rear lounge. Meanwhile, the exterior receives a refreshed monochrome colour scheme with bold linear graphics. An optional deep metallic blue exterior paint finish ensures Carrera stands out on any road.
Merlin: Meet Swift's all-new entry-level campervan
Designed for seasoned outdoor lovers and spontaneous weekend adventurers alike, Merlin is ideal for those who have perfected their camping set-up and are ready to elevate their experience, or those simply looking to downsize.
True to Swift’s DNA, the range is designed with ease and comfort in mind. From swivel captain’s chairs and an exclusive Duvalay Alto mattress to intuitive control panels and a practical washroom with foldaway basin, practicality sits at the heart of Merlin.
Built on the Fiat Ducato panel van, Merlin offers nine versatile layout options, allowing you to tailor the vehicle to your lifestyle. The line-up includes five 2-berth models plus four pop-top variants, increasing capacity to 4 berths.
Whether you prioritise generous garage space for hobby equipment with the 174 or a flexible living area that transitions seamlessly from daytime socialising to night-time comfort with the 144, Merlin caters for every journey.
Trekker campervan: Redefining the ordinary
Returning for 2027, the Swift Trekker campervan is designed to break away from the ordinary, with bold styling, rugged character and an adventure-ready design.
Layout options for the new season have been refined, with two key layouts now sitting at the core of the range, sleeping either 2 or 4 people. The X, with pop-top, and XF, with fixed roof, combine striking looks with practical features.
Built on a Ford Transit panel van, both feature a front dinette and practical kitchen space with a two-burner hob and sink, built-in oven with grill and compressor fridge. This leads through to a compact washroom with foldaway washbasin, followed by locker storage and a double-bed conversion at the rear.
Voyager: Flexible family living
A popular choice for families, Voyager is designed for real-world family living, effortlessly transitioning from daytime entertaining to evening relaxation.
The existing 400 Series will be retired for 2027, leaving the 500 Series with six layouts. Echoing Kon-Tiki’s design direction, Voyager now features striking black moulded skirts paired with monochrome exterior graphics.
Interior enhancements include removable cab carpets, a flat-bed microwave as standard and pull-out wire basket storage, all designed to elevate comfort and usability.
Trekker motorhome: Ready for every adventure
Maintaining the iconic campervan’s distinctive style, the Trekker motorhome combines its Ford chassis and adventurous character with a coachbuilt motorhome format, creating a more generous living space.
For 2027, the range consists of four layout options, including the all-new 505 model - the only Trekker motorhome under 7m in length, offering a more compact option for two people.
A front lounge and dinette lead to a practical kitchen space with a combination oven and grill, plus a fridge with removable freezer compartment. At the rear of the vehicle, you’ll find a washroom with a separate shower cubicle.
Popular features continuing for the new season include a digital dashboard with cab air conditioning and cruise control, an exclusive Duvalay Duvalite Alto mattress, and a Truma CombiNeo heating and water heating system.
Escape: Luxury living more accessible than ever
Escape also sees one of the most significant updates for 2027 – opening the door to accessible luxury for even more customers.
Now a 2-berth as standard, with its MTPLM reduced to 3500kg, Escape can be driven on a standard Category B licence in manual specification. A new monochrome exterior with a grey cab brings a fresh, modern aesthetic, complemented by interior enhancements that deliver a revitalised look and feel.
Popular features continuing for the new season include a washroom with dedicated shower cubicle, built-in Wi-Fi, and an Alde heating and hot water system.
Kon-Tiki: Elevated, indulgent travel
Kon-Tiki remains the pinnacle of Swift motorhome luxury, designed for elevated longer touring holidays and combining exceptional space and comfort with striking new enhancements for 2027.
Built on a Fiat chassis cab and requiring a Category C1 licence, the exterior now features new black moulded skirts and an awning, complementing the monochrome colour scheme and accentuating the vehicle’s distinctive profile.
Discover two new layouts, including the 740 - a much more compact motorhome at under 7m in length, designed for those who want supreme luxury without the additional size.
Inside, a new electrically operated rise-and-fall island bed on the 794 and 894 provides greater garage storage below, while new flush-fit framed double-glazed windows feature night-latch ventilation.
