Carrera powers up and becomes fully off-grid compatible for 2027

Swift unveiled its latest 2027 campervan and motorhome ranges on 1st September, including one of the most exciting updates of the season: the Swift Carrera, now upgraded with a suite of new electric features that make off‑grid touring easier and more accessible than ever.
For 2027, the Carrera becomes fully off-grid compatible, replacing its traditional gas system with lithium batteries and diesel heating. A redesigned, offline-friendly kitchen introduces an induction hob and an air fryer, giving owners modern cooking convenience wherever their travels take them.
The existing six layouts return for 2027, with the 122 now enhanced to feature a U‑shaped rear lounge. The exterior receives a refreshed monochrome colour scheme with bold linear graphics, complemented by an optional new deep metallic blue finish that ensures Carrera stands out on any road.
