Swift Group victorious at prestigious UK Private Business Awards

Swift Group was delighted to be named ‘Private Business of the Year’ at the UK’s Private Business of the Year awards at last night’s gala evening held at the Brewery in London.

The PwC sponsored awards recognise ambitious businesses that have a compelling vision, strong long term strategy and committed to supporting the local and wider community. Above all, businesses that punch above their weight whether in the UK or internationally.

Swift Group is the UK’s leading manufacturer of Leisure Vehicles, and Swift is Europe’s No1 brand. Yorkshire based, Swift Group was established in 1964 and has grown steadily through its focus on product development, design innovation and customer service.

In recent years, the Group’s success has accelerated through market innovation and international expansion resulting in a record financial performance in 2017 with turnover of £273m. A major manufacturer, the Group now employs over 1,200 people at its Cottingham and Mexborough facilities.
