Swift Group strengthens its Customer service and Commercial teams with key appointments

Swift Group, the UK’S number one manufacturer of leisure vehicles continues to build its commercial capability with four key appointments in the Customer Service and Commercial Management teams.

Swift has enjoyed unprecedented success in the past year, including record breaking retail sales growth and winner of multiple awards for its Manufacturing operation, Apprenticeship Scheme and Customer Satisfaction. To drive further success, necessitates boosting the existing talent within Swift, and the business has recently appointed four key people.

New Customer Service Manager, Penny Steele, joins from B Braun Medical Ltd. With over 25 years’ experience, Penny has a broad business background and experience of leading large multi-functional teams including; Customer Service, Supply Chain and Commercial teams. Penny holds a Master’s degree from Leicester University in Customer Management, and is a certified Customer Experience Management coach with hands on experience of working with teams to create the best possible service outcomes for customers.

Following the exciting addition of the iconic Airstream brand to Swift’s UK portfolio, Ben Parkin has been appointed Airstream Brand Manager. Ben brings a wealth of industry experience in both retail and manufacturing environments, and will have responsibility for all commercial aspects of the Airstream brand, reporting directly to Group Commercial Director, Nick Page.

Boosting the Touring Caravan Commercial team is Account Manager, Ben McGrath. Ben has considerable retail experience having started work in 1996 at one of Swift’s main caravan dealers while still at school. Recognising his potential the dealership offered Ben a full time position, from which he quickly progressed to become Sales Manager, with responsibility the retail sales and accessories shop.

Holiday Home Account Manager, Danny Hunter, joins Swift from Regal Holiday Homes. Following in the footsteps of his father, Danny originally worked in manufacturing for Atlas before transferring to their sales team in 1991. Danny has worked in a variety of retail and account management positions for different manufacturers and park groups
