Swift Group Strengthen Holiday Home Offering

With six years experience in the holiday home market the Swift group are now firmly established as one of the leading manufacturers. This experience is evident in the breadth and refinement of the product offer for the 2011 season.

Changes to the Burgundy range ensure it is sector leading . It remains mainly targeted at the rental market but will undoubtedly now have strong retail appeal.

The Bordeaux range, aimed mainly at the retail market, offers affordable access to Swift design and finish with the luxury of freestanding high quality lounge and dining furniture.

The highly successful Moselle range is strengthened with a combination of the latest fabrics and finishes with very visual detailed improvements to the specification.

The Chamonix is having a full relaunch and will be positioned more upmarket. The top of the range Champagne is increased in length with larger main bedroom and en-suite bathroom and redesigned lounge furniture.

All ranges are now built on the New strong Fusion chassis which has been created using the very latest design technology and engineering expertise and comes with extended warranties that are unique in the market. Burgundy, Bordeaux and Moselle ranges come with a 'Zinphos' painted finish carrying 3 year warranty and Chamonix and Champagne ranges come with a fully galvanised finish carrying an unrivalled 10 year warranty. The fully galvanised finish is optional on the other ranges.

Last season the Burgundy 12ft wide model range was extended and a 10ft range introduced, all priced to satisfy the rental market but also available for retail sale. Further improvements for 2011 ensure the Burgundy range is sector leading and provide a New 32ft x 10ft 2 bed model.

Exterior visual appeal is guaranteed by the New wide, deep front bay, distinctive Swift branded GRP bargeboards and woodgrain textured cladding. Good sized gutters complete with downpipes and coated steel pantile roof complete the quality look.

On the inside the quality image is re-enforced with solidly built furniture in 'Verona' light oak, flush doors with matt chrome fittings and New contemporary domestic soft furnishings.

The lounge and dining area benefits from modern 'L' shaped seating with pull-out bed and storage underneath, a New Widney 'Curvaspace' gas fire set in a contemporary wood framed fireplace (12ft wide models only, 10ft models gas fire set in entertainment unit) and a dining table with bench style upholstered seating and stools. A New offside window in 10ft lounges provides more natural light.

Stylish and well equipped, the domestic style kitchen has good storage and worktop space with a dedicated position for an optional under counter fridge and a New dedicated position for a microwave oven. The oven and grill have been upgraded and New 'Traffic' heavy duty durable floor vinyl has been fitted in the kitchen, hall and bathrooms.

Bedrooms have lined curtains with tie-backs and voiles on stylish matt chrome poles and are equipped with mirrors and 230v sockets. Twin bedrooms provide flexible accommodation with the New addition of one slide under bed.

Bathrooms have showers with thermostatic mixers, white porcelain suites and a useful shaver light over a mirror.

Key options include UPVC double glazing, gas central heating, electric plinth heaters and towel rails, fully galvanised chassis with 10 year warranty, and an environmental green exterior colour scheme.

    The Bordeaux range was a New addition last season and is the next specification level up. This range continues with improvements to the lounge and dining space by optimising the fireplace size and position and moving the carpet/vinyl division in the kitchen/dining area.

    The main visual differences over the Burgundy remain the exterior front and the lounge and dining room where free-standing sofas replace long bench style seating and a contemporary domestic dining table and chairs replace the fixed dinette area.

    Fabrics give a modern, inviting feel and three separate vaulted front windows with the option of patio doors and an additional window in the nearside front increase the exterior specification.

    Inside the Bordeaux has the addition of a coffee table in the lounge, storage unit in the offside front corner (not with patio door option) and lined curtains enhanced by pelmets and tie-backs in complementary fabric.

    The kitchen has a cooker hood, waste bin and New shelf for a microwave to free up worktop space. Bathrooms have vanity cupboards and the main bedroom has a lift up bed for storage. Higher specification furniture, lighting and detailed fittings complete the differentiation from the Burgundy range.

    The class-leading Moselle range received a full makeover last season. For 2011 a combination of the latest fabrics and finishes with very visual detailed improvements to the specification, coupled with a unique New laminated wall construction strengthen this highly successful range even further.

    All exterior walls have a bonded laminated construction using the technique perfected over many years for Swift's touring caravans. The result is more rigid walls and an altogether stronger body shell.

    Inside New designer soft furnishings, additional lounge cupboard with glass doors, glass shelves over the electric lava rock fire fireplace and a lounge picture enhance the living area. New brushed chrome switches and sockets provide a luxurious finishing touch.

    The kitchen has New contemporary gloss finish doors with steel feature handles, a 1.5 bowl sink and upgraded oven and grill to add to last season's high quality make over which saw walnut woodblock design kitchen top laminate, full height smoked glass splash back and stainless steel cooker hood over the oven. The work top space is illuminated by task lighting under kitchen lockers and the double door fridge/freezer is fully integrated.

    Well dressed bedrooms now have the finishing touch of a large fabric headboard and a New stylish shower cubicle with tough GRP base improves the bathroom.

    Moselle range:

    The distinctive Chamonix is completely re launched for 2011 and is being positioned more upmarket. The solid architectural look of the New Chamonix combined with the aspirational and contemporary interior place in firmly in the luxury sector.

    Elements of the design and specification have been chosen to re-enforce this – for example a glazed gable over the side entrance, large front glazed area, the option of PVC cladding, velux rooflight in the kitchen, luxury dining suite and a 5 burner hob. Like Moselle, the Chamonix range has Swift's unique New laminated wall construction resulting in a stronger body shell.

    An extra 1ft in length also provides space for an optional dishwasher and washing machine, a key requirement for the luxury market. The kitchen also benefits from a New wider kitchen window, New furniture finish and soft shut drawers.

    New 'Romana Cherry' woodgrain, 'Westminster' wallboard and contemporary New fabric scheme give a totally New interior feel. Restyled sofas have 'L' shape corner seating, the coffee table matches the dining table style and the lounge has the same electric fire behind smoked glass as the top of the range Chamonix.

    Leather look dining chairs, New kitchen styling and a New lounge and dining lighting scheme complete the New ambiance.

    These features will allow the Chamonix to sit comfortably alongside homes costing £10K to £15K more.

    The top-of-the range Champagne, already the largest holiday home in the line-up, is growing larger and more luxurious for the New season. An increase in body length to 12.78m (41'11") creates a more spacious master bedroom with improved ensuite bathroom layout and the aura of opulence has been enhanced by more extensive and re-designed lounge furniture.

    Inside New fabrics, 'Romana Cherry' woodgrain and 'Westminster' wallboard plus re-designed furniture for the lounge and dining area give an even higher quality feel.

    The layout still provides two bedrooms with a central, superbly equipped dining kitchen and a large separate lounge. The larger master bedroom has an improved ensuite with a P-shaped bath and shower over and the main bathroom features a large shower cubicle.

    The Champagne offers all the specification of the luxury Chamonix range plus additional top of the range features.

    These include a 50mm thick composite floor and bonded laminated walls with 60mm thick insulation (providing an EN1647, Grade 3 rating). Large feature windows are framed with Graphite uPVC and glazed with heat reflecting thermoglass.

    The interior combines richness with a cutting-edge contemporary feel. This is typified by the American style 'A'-rated fridge/freezer set in the stunning dining kitchen which is styled with "Ramona" Cherry, 'Tobacco' walnut and selected doors with frosted glazing. A 12-place integrated dishwasher is standard equipment. The dining table with smoked glass top and upholstered chairs sit under the glazed side gable. The look is extended into the lounge by the electric fire behind smoked glass, glazed furniture units, luxury sofa and chairs and deep pile carpet.

    Options available include French doors to the front, leather sofas and chairs, washing machine, and a choice of New CanExel exterior cladding colours.
