Swift Group is starting the 2012 season extremely competitively with a combination of big specification additions combined with minimal underlying price increases for its trend setting Swift and Sterling brands.
The all new, lightweight Challenger Sport & Eccles Sport models average 2.8% more than the Charismas and Europas they replace. This is accounted for by the inclusion of AL-KO Active Trailer Control (ATC) System, so the new design and other specification increases come at no extra cost.
The Swift Challenger and Sterling Eccles ranges launched just a year ago get the biggest specification increase; AL-KO ATC is now standard as is the distinctive panoramic sunroof, due to popular demand. These added £950 on to 2011 prices and 2012 models with unchanged layouts have only gone up by £1000, despite other improvements such as the new kitchen downlighters.
The flagship Swift Conqueror and Sterling Elite ranges benefit from the same competitive treatment with standard fit AL-KO ATC accounting for £450 of the typical £550 increase for 2012. Most of the ranges also now have a towel radiator added to the Alde radiator heating system.
Announcing the prices, Commercial Director Nick Page said, “The whole Swift and Sterling line-up has been renewed in the last 12 months and so we have a very strong product offer. In addition we are determined to give our customers market leading value for money and these prices reflect this policy.”
