Swift Group celebrates employees’ hard work and achievements at the Swift Academy graduation ceremony.
Held at Willerby Manor, the event welcomed 73 staff who have recently completed accredited training programmes, with presentations by managing director James Turner and deputy managing director Amy Archer.
Amy Archer said “Swift is thoroughly committed to education and development, investing in people at all levels to benefit both individuals and the wider company.
“We are delighted to share such a special occasion with our employees and to celebrate how they have gone the extra mile to deliver the best products and services. It is important for us to recognise and commemorate this, and we are so proud of their efforts.”
Providing visible progression paths while also securing succession planning, the training develops the key skills needed to futureproof the business. The qualifications earned range from apprenticeships, HNCs and HNDs to NVQs across the business, including production, design and customer care. The recipients also included Swift Academy’s first full group of apprentices to both start and complete their programmes with the company before being hired, achieving Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
Swift places great emphasis on continuous learning and training to develop a proficient workforce. Designed to enable employees to achieve their full vocational potential whilst feeling valued and appreciated, the Swift Academy delivers in-person and online training with a focus on customer experience, addressing needs for both present and future demands.
