Swift, one of Europe’s leading leisure vehicle manufacturers, marked its Swedish launch of the popular Sprite range at September’s Elmia Show, Jönköping.

The launch builds upon the exciting performance of Swift’s Toscane motorhome range in the Swedish market over recent years. It will be available in three models:

  • Sprite Basecamp, the innovative crossover camping vehicle that has been a major success for Swift in the UK
  • Sprite Cruzer 492 SR, a 4 berth with rear washroom and mid parallel single beds
  • Sprite Cruzer 520 SR, a 4 berth with rear island bed and mid transverse washroom

Representing the brand’s excellence in creative innovation, Swift’s Scandinavian partner, Swift Norden, demonstrated considerable ingenuity to overcome space constraints at the show. Working with a small footprint, the company created a three-storey display stand outside the main venue to effectively showcase the vehicles, with stairs and platforms enabling visitors to explore each model.

Moreover, Swift Norden has adopted an equally creative approach to sales by making the Sprite range only available for customers to purchase at shows or through the internet. This direct sales approach delivers significant savings for customers in comparison with existing sales models, while servicing and support will be provided by regional service centres and mobile engineers.

On hand to conduct the official launch, Swift Group’s Commercial Director, Nick Page, commented “I was bowled over by the presence that Swift Norden achieved for the launch of Sprite - innovative, imaginative and delivering considerable impact. Visitor response at the show was overwhelming and I congratulate the team. The launch is already a huge success”.

Held on 5-9 September 2018 in Jönköping, Sweden, the Elmia Husvagn Husbil Show is the Scandinavian caravan and camping industry’s largest trade show. Attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year, the event showcases major leisure brands for both professionals and consumers.
