No. 1 Van Conversion range gets face-lift inside and out to keep it in pole position

Autocruise continues to be the No.1 choice for van conversions in the UK based on choice, specification and value. For 2015 the new Peugeot/Fiat chassis, classic silver metallic exterior, new interior furnishing scheme and improved Alto layout are set to keep it in pole position.

Models are based on a Peugeot Boxer van as standard or a Fiat Ducato van, if an automatic gearbox option is selected. The new cab has a more streamlined modern look and comes in metallic silver with colour keyed bumpers and LED daytime running lights. Inside new 'Captain-chair' style cab seats have an integrated headrest, wider backrest, better side support and improved seat comfort for an overall more comfortable journey.

The dashboard has a Techno silver trim, Bluetooth for hands free phone connection and a roof mounted aerial for better reception. For the Fiat version there is a handy central holder that takes two cups or 0.75 litre bottles and has space for a smart phone. The Peugeot version has a lockable central storage box. There is also a USB port for mobile device charging and connectivity.

The instrument panel has new more modern graphics and a gearshift indicator shows you when to change gear for optimum economy.

Bold new graphics and 15/16" alloy wheels (model dependent) finish off the new exterior and reversing sensors can be added as part of the Comfort Pack.

Inside there are new contemporary high gloss ‘Aralie Sen’ doors with a gloss smoked oak effect inlay with chrome push button catches. Smoked oak wood grain windowsills enhance the luxury feel of the 2015 Autocruise range.

The new 'Edison' soft furnishings have a monochrome timeless class. Soft feeling warm grey fabric contrasts the black embossed fabrics that make up the main seat and backrest. A pale silver stripe accents the fabrics and ties into the scatter cushions and curtains. The curtains are given further impact from the black wall pads that incorporate a geometric design in a silver thread.

The travelling seat backrests have been redesigned to match the new captains style cab seats and offer greater travelling comfort. The LED spot lights are now dimmable and along with overlocker lighting give greater flexibility.

Sinks have new vector taps and the Truma Combi 4 boiler ensures there is a plentiful supply of hot water and enables models to easily make the Grade 3 standard for heating and thermal insulation.

The Alto layout has been modified for better usability and is now on an extended long wheel base van (6.4m). This has allowed the toilet/shower room to be positioned in the centre behind the front seat and the rear fixed bed now folds for better access and also has a dressing/drawer unit to the side.

The special value Comfort Pack adds cab air-conditioning, cruise control, reversing sensors, microwave oven, Burl wood and silver dash kit.

The sporty Carrera model added last year also benefits from the new cab and retains it’s all white exterior with striking graphics, 16" alloy wheels and privacy blacked out windows plus the same additional specification as last year which included an enhanced sound system, awning, roof rack, solar panel and much more.

With such well-equipped and desirable vans, customers may well be concerned about security. Swift Group has thought of that, and a TRACKER Retrieve” Thatcham Category 7 approved tracking system is standard equipment. Many insurers insist on trackers, so it could save customers several hundred pounds for fitting one later.

All Autocruise models have European Whole Vehicle Type Approval which ensures compliance with strict weight, dimension and safety regulations – Autocruise are the first UK panel van manufacturer to comply with these regulations.

"With the new metallic silver exterior that flows into the interior colour ways the Autocruise models have a greater sense of luxury and added comfort thanks to the new cab. These refinements are aimed at keeping the Autocruise brand in pole position and are designed to appeal to panel van buyer," commented Nick Page, Swift Group Commercial Director.
