Sprite, Swift Group's entry touring caravan range, is its top selling single range. For 2014 it boasted Swift's new SMART intelligent Construction, stunning new graphics and soft furnishings and upgraded Truma Combi 4/6 heating. For 2015 this winning formula continues with the addition of a digital, programmable controller for the heating, the Duvalay Duvalite mattress on fixed beds, new contemporary 'Aralie Sen' woodgrain and a new model with island fixed bed, the Major 4SB.
The Duvalay Duvalite mattress was an exciting addition to Swift Group mid to top ranges last year and was received so well it is now standard equipment in all its touring caravan ranges. Brought to recognition on Dragon's Den and now backed by Hilary Devey, the 'Duvalay Duvalite' is a new innovative mattress made with lightweight memory fibre technology. This hypoallergenic fibre remains as comfortable as memory foam but has many other benefits. Helping eliminate heat retention it gives superior temperature harmony, excellent pressure relief and is durable and resilient. It is resistant to dust-mites and is 100% recyclable.
The new Major 4SB model with transverse island fixed bed benefits from the new mattress and gives a choice of 8 models for 2015 including two twin axle models.
Inside new contemporary 'Aralie Sen' woodgrain with an ashen brown hue complements the a ribbed, dark chocolate fabric. Other enhancements include LED spot lights, kitchen locker header with LED downlights, chrome sockets and new vector taps.
Key to Sprite's appeal is the facility to tailor the equipment level to match a budget and there is a big range of options.
The Diamond pack is so well priced that it is always selected. This gives stylish new Scorpion alloy wheels and a door flyscreen to the new one piece, flush fitting exterior door. Other pack features include an AL-KO stabiliser, AL-KO wheel-lock receiver, microwave oven, radio/CD/MP3 player and scatter cushions.
There are also seven more individual options including a panoramic sunroof.
All models still comply with European Whole Vehicle Type Approval , have EN1645 Grade 3 classification for heating and insulation, which is the highest available and the seal of assurance from Swift's 10-year body integrity warranty.
Recognising owners desire to protect their investment, Swift Group are continuing to fit all Sprites with a "TRACKER Retrieve" Thatcham approved tracking system, equipment usually only standard on premium-priced ranges.
Model sizes range from the compact 2-berth Alpine 2 to the family-sized 6-berth Quattro FB twin-axle model.
Swift Group Commercial Director, Nick Page commented, "Sprite is one of our top selling ranges and with the new SMART construction and changes for 2015 we believe it will be the best built and specified caravan available on the market from around £13,000."
