Lucky winners, Mr & Mrs Crawley from Kent, collected the keys to a fabulous new Swift Challenger 570SR, which they won through a Caravan Club Competition in conjunction with the Swift Group, at The Caravan Club’s press breakfast at the recent National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show held at the NEC, Birmingham.

In summer 2010 The Club teamed up with The Swift Group to launch a competition that would certainly make a Club member’s year, let alone day! The prize, Swift’s latest model worth nearly £18,000, the Swift Challenger 570SR - a model that at the time of the competitions launch was not even available.

Since August 2010 Club members were able to enter online, by post and even at some events for their chance to win this fantastic prize, with the closing date set as mid December, The Club received a whopping 41,000 entries.

Contacted in January the winners Mr & Mrs Crawley, from Kent, said they were “simply amazed and delighted”.

Tony Lewis, Head of Membership Marketing for The Caravan Club says, “It is always really great to be able to run a high value competition such as this one exclusively for our members, it provides an added value to their membership and can really change the life of one lucky member. And to be able to do so on this occasion with such an exclusive product is even more special, these new ranges by Swift are certainly very exciting for the industry.”

Richard White, Swift Group Marketing Director commented, “We were delighted to work with The Caravan Club on this promotion. These are the most advanced products Swift has ever developed and take touring caravan style, luxury and usability to a new higher level. The winner will be one of the first people to get a new model, already voted ‘Tourer of the Year’ by the media. We hope they will enjoy their prize.”
