The exciting news for the 2017 season is the launch of the Whistler Lodge, a completely new luxury Twin Unit for Swift Group that along with the new Alsace Lodge and existing two lodges creates the Lifestyle Range. In the Holiday Range there are two completely new Holiday Homes: the fresh and bright Antibes; and the outstanding Loire Plus. Overall, there are now an extensive fifteen ranges to select from, covering virtually every taste and budget.
Swift is firmly established as a market leader distinguished by its build quality with key features like our unique and strong bonded ‘sandwich’ exterior walls, warranted Fusion chassis, class-leading thermal performance and contemporary interior designs combine to make Swift Holiday Homes best-sellers.
Including the all new Twin Unit Whistler Lodge, every Swift Lodge in the Lifestyle Range now meets the new specification (BS3632:2015) for residential living that was introduced in 2015. The regulations set a higher standard for thermal efficiency and through improvements in roof, wall and floor insulation Swift surpass this standard.
At the pinnacle of the Lifestyle Range, the new Whistler Lodge has an 8ft and 12ft split which provides generous living space with an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Designer touches include feature wall coverings and an ‘Opti Myst’ feature flame fire (no heat). There is a utility room and two spacious bedrooms, one with an ensuite – see separate release for more details.
Taking modern design influences found in residential homes into the Lodge market is the new Alsace Lodge, 42’ x 13’ 2 bed. It has the same modern interior as the Alsace Holiday Home but with layout modifications creating a more spacious look and feel. Outside it features Mist Grey CanExel cladding with anthracite glazing. Acadia Green and Sierra Brown are available as options.
The Chamonix Lodge and Chamonix have an exterior change and there is an option of triple velux roof lights to give extra light to the kitchen/dining area. New ‘Sherlock’ soft furnishings have a colour palette designed around muted greys and vibrant citrus hues forming a delicate but sophisticated balance. A teardrop design theme in the lounge curtains is delicately balanced with luxurious, tactile, contrasting fabric textures in the sofa and scatter cushions. The theme cascades through to the master and twin bedrooms with the zesty citrus colourway providing the main focus of attention.
The Moselle Lodge and Moselle Holiday Home remains as popular as ever and are carried forward with the same successful formula for the new season.
Completely new for 2017 is the two model Antibes. With an architectural front design, it has a striking exterior. Inside feels spacious with a ceiling height of 7ft (2.13m) and an open plan living area. The TV area has a feature wall, LED lighting and handy storage drawers. There is a bookshelf between the lounge and the dinette, which has bench style seating on one side and two chairs opposite.
The kitchen has an open plan L-shaped layout in a modern design with sleek handleless furniture, a black designer angled cooker hood, black glass oven splash back, 'Ocean blue' acrylic splashback to the sink and a double width window with roller blind.
'Emperor' soft furnishings come with curtains and voiles throughout. With neutral mink seating, shades of Emperor blue, stone and cream are used throughout with abstract pattern detailing adding interest to the curtains and cushions.
Washrooms continue the designer scheme. There is an 'Ocean drive' feature panel over the vanity with LED lighting and new white towel radiators in shower rooms and an ensuite shower in the 38’ x 12’ 2 bed. The main bedroom also boasts a feature panel above the headboard.
Additional finishing touches include over bed lockers with LED feature lighting, vanity area with LED lit mirror and socket, integral mirror in the wardrobe and a mirror in the lounge.
The new Antibes comes in two models, the 38’ x 12’ 2 bed and 40’ x 12’ 3 bed.
Also new for 2017 is a two model Loire Plus which comes in a 35’ x 12’ 2 bed and 35’ x 12’ 3 bed. It offers enhanced specification above the standard Loire Holiday Home at a great price, making it ideal for the rental market. Additional standard features include a window behind the TV, loose back cushions to the L-shaped sofa, freestanding dining table and chairs, integrated fridge-freezer, cooker hood, lift up bed, hallway door and upgraded soft furnishings in the new ‘Bahia’ scheme.
The entry level Loire continues with its seven existing layouts but has a new architectural front design. Three are narrower 10ft models and lengths go from 28ft to 35ft to offer great flexibility. A new ‘Bahia’ soft furnishing scheme features sofas in soft neutral, textured woven fabric with chocolate brown arm and seat base accents complemented by textured cardinal red cushions and abstract pattern curtains with a cream base and russet tones, with red tie backs.
The Burgundy, Biarritz, Bordeaux and Bordeaux Escape models all received new furnishing schemes and improvements last season that have proved so popular that they continue through to 2017 with no changes other than the general season upgrades. These include washroom upgrades, new architrave, skirting and coving and thermal improvements. New exterior lights and GRP bargeboards enhance the exteriors.
The most compact offering is the diminutive S-Pod, which remains an innovative self-contained, flexible living space that will be available in three formats for 2017, the S-Pod 2 berth, new S-Pod 4, 4 berth and S-Pace that offers a blank canvas for you to use for a multitude of purposes.
The new S-Pod 4 is slightly larger than the S-Pod. Like the S-Pod it features a fold away bed/sofa, but the kitchen is replaced with a seating area with handy storage areas beneath that also pulls out into a double bed. There is a convenient area for making refreshments, mirrored sliding door wardrobe and large full width washroom with vanity unit and spacious shower cubicle.
All models benefit from LED lighting and a quality Duvalay ‘Holiday Home Collection’ Pocket sprung mattress on all beds. Master bedroom mattresses in the Chamonix upwards have the added luxury of a quilted memory fibre layer.
In summary the line-up for 2017 is:
New S-Pod 4
New Loire Plus
New Alsace Lodge
New Chamonix Lodge
New Twin Unit Whistler Lodge
