COVID-19

Latest Update

We are pleased to share with you that our business has partially reopened in some areas in order to provide essential support and services to our dealers and customers. It is really great to be back doing what we love, albeit still in a limited capacity at this time due to the ongoing restrictions and effects of Covid-19. Our full business return, which includes production, is currently planned for the 1st of September.

In conjunction with the re-opening of many dealerships and park showgrounds, a small number of employees have now returned to work at Swift. Where possible, employees are working from home. For those required on our sites, the business has implemented the Government’s ‘Covid-19 Secure’ guidelines to ensure they stay as safe as possible at all times. Further details can be found at https://www.swiftgroup.co.uk/about/covid19-risk-assessment.

If you are waiting for delivery of your new Swift leisure product, we are sure that you will understand that there has been considerable disruption to our production plans and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. For an update on the status of your new Swift leisure product we recommend that you keep in contact with your dealer or park.

For existing Swift owners, we have now resumed limited services to our dealers so they are in a position to be able to help you with any urgent service, warranty, or parts queries. Should any Swift Group owner not have access to a dealer then you are able to access support from our network of Approved Repairers - https://www.swiftgroup.co.uk/find-a-dealer/type/repairer. We are aware that not all businesses are open yet across the UK depending on local government guidelines and their own individual circumstances and so we would recommend that you ring ahead prior to making any trips to a dealer or repairer.

Prior to lockdown, a number of existing owners were scheduled to receive a visit from one of our engineers as part of our proactive product checks. These visits recommenced on Monday June 15th. If you are expecting a visit, letters were sent in early June to all affected customers with details of our next steps. At this stage the postcode areas that the engineers are able to visit is limited to a 70 mile radius of our East Yorkshire location until such a time that engineers are able to access hotel accommodation across the UK. We anticipate that we will be able to broaden the scope of the checks from early July onwards, subject to Government guidance and access to overnight accommodation which meets the requirements of our risk assessments, as the safety of our employees and customers is paramount. For further details on our proactive product checks and recall campaigns please visit https://www.swiftgroup.co.uk/owners/recalls.

For any other enquiries that existing Swift owners may have at this time we kindly ask you to visit the FAQ’s page on the Swift website https://www.swiftgroup.co.uk/owners/faqs. Alternatively, contact your dealer, repairer or park with any questions you may have. The FAQs page has recently been updated and we will continue to add more information as appropriate.

We are grateful for the patience and understanding of all our customers, dealers, parks and suppliers over the last few months as we navigate our way through our phased reopening. All at Swift Group wish you safe and well as we emerge from the lockdown on this new journey together.
