Twin Test: Sterling Eccles Moonstone Vs Bailey Pegasus 514 (Practical Caravan Magazine)
15 March 2010
Two caravans with the same layout have been given very different treatments. Which will have the greater showroom appeal?
The New Eccles - With endless style, this celebrated mid-range offers the perfect combination of design and specification. Its stunning exterior appearance has taken caravan design to a new dimension. The panoramic sunroof in the sweeping front panel now comes as standard as does the AL-KO ATC stability control system which, added to the standard shock absorbers, make these models some of the most aerodynamic and safest to tow.
With an inspired range of six models, including a new island bed model, the Eccles range is perfect for couples and families.
Finishing touches are all-important, and Eccles interiors enjoy a successful blend of inspired design and functionality. New ‘Italian Ash’ woodgrain offers contemporary colouring with a defined woodgrain texture and the contour of the front panel allows for maximum headroom and roof-locker space throughout.
The panoramic front sunroof gives a great view out. Low energy lighting and pleated blinds let you set the mood.
A choice of flexible seating and sleeping arrangements combine with well equipped kitchens and washrooms.
